This standard stone arch culvert crosses a branch of Buttrick Creek west of S Avenue, behind the Hill Golf Course.
Built in 1898 and widened in 1900, the culvert features a standard single stone arch span. This span is supported by stone substructures.
Arch culverts like these were common permanent works to fill trestles, and were particularly popular due to their durability.
Overall, the culvert appears to remain in excellent condition, with no visible defects.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
